Mary grew up with a heightened sensitivity to glamour and beauty. From a young age, she was fascinated with skincare and makeup. Along with doing her weekly manicure and pedicure, she would make her own facial masks using yogurt and cucumbers for spa treatments. Mary would often play dress-up in her mother’s clothes and shoes. She attributes her comprehension of beauty to her mother, whom she would watch apply makeup for special events.
As a self-taught artist, Mary has worked with MAC, NARS, Lancome, and Stila where she honed her craft working alongside some of the industry’s most in-demand artists. Her approachable and professional persona can be accredited to her role as a West Coast Lead Trainer for NARS Cosmetics.
Mary has contributed to the trend-setting makeup looks on the runways at New York Fashion Week for Marchesa, Thakoon, and Herve Leger, working with top model including Jordan Dunn (featured in WWD), actress Maggie Q. and Rodarte. Mary’s love for beauty’s power of transformation has allowed her to travel the country facilitating beauty seminars and events working with diverse clients.
Mary strives to make beauty and skincare all about ease and accessibility while being fun and individualized. Mary creates looks of elegance and modern sophistication for every woman.
